Patient Guidance

Patients requiring inpatient admission must first visit the Admission Counter to complete the necessary formalities. Before admission, it is mandatory to complete patient registration and obtain a hospital registration card.

Each admitted patient will be issued a hospital identification band, which must be worn at all times during the stay. This band will be removed by the nurse at the time of discharge.

Registration and Admission Process

Any new patient visiting Tulips Multispeciality Hospital for Outpatient (OP), Inpatient (IP), Day-care, or Emergency services is registered and assigned an automatically generated Unique Hospital ID Number (also called Hospital Number or Registration Number).

This Unique ID is permanent and stores all hospital records related to the patient. For Inpatient (IP) admissions, an additional IP Number is also generated for internal tracking and treatment documentation.

For any updates or corrections in the patient’s registration details, the patient is directed to the Medical Records Department. Changes are made only after verifying valid ID proof.

Patient Attender Policy

Only one attendant is allowed to stay with the patient during the hospital stay.
An Attender Pass will be issued at the time of admission and must be carried at all times within the hospital premises.
The Attender Pass must be shown to security personnel upon request and must be returned to the ward secretary or nursing staff at discharge.
